Five Go Live (FGL) assist Edinburgh House Estates to automate their payment and remittance processes!

 

Five Go Live (FGL) is committed to working with our clients to ensure that they achieve ongoing efficiencies from their IT related investments and from their Sage Financial Administration and Management Reporting software (ERP).

 

During a recent account management review meeting to discuss business processes with Matt Miller - Financial Controller of Edinburgh House Estates, FGL recommended that they consider implementing elements of Version One’s software range: DbForms, DbMail and DbBacs. Version One’s DbBacs is a tool that FGL considers would greatly assist Edinburgh House Estates with the automation of their payment processes by using BACS to send out their payments while using DbForms to create a meaningful and clear remittance advice to their suppliers, to let them know what they were being paid and when.

 

Edinburgh House Estates agreed with our recommendations and together we installed Version One’s software as an integrated part of the Sage Line 500 Accounting software FGL has provided, implemented and supports. DbForms now produces aesthetically appealing documents and when combined with Version One’s DbMail module automatically emails these documents to Edinburgh House Estates suppliers when they are paid.

 

This new workflow related process will greatly reduce Edinburgh House Estates costs in stationery and postage, saving valuable time for those previously involved in the labourious printing, collating and posting processes of such documents to suppliers. This approach works very effectively with the BACS payments and the same process can easily be applied to achieve similar efficiencies in the invoicing and statement aspects of their activities as a future phase.

Five Go Live (FGL) assist Crane Telecommunications to achieve all-round customer facing improvements

 

Crane Telecommunications, a market leader in the value-added distribution of voice, data and converged communications solutions, has replaced its existing customer service software in favour of a browser based Service Centre Service Management Solution. The result, it says, will be enhanced overall service offerings, better managed spares/stock utilisation processes, as well as improved channel partner support and increased resource utilisation, these improvements will in turn lead greater staff job satisfaction.

 

Crane Telecommunications engaged FGL for help in identifying improvements to its service activities by implementing a solution that would integrate with and support their use of their Sage Line 500 ERP system and complement their IT Strategy.

 

After reviewing Crane’s existing customer service software and identifying its strengths, weaknesses and suitability for purpose, FGL reviewed several UK and Internationally sourced service systems and selected Tesseract’s Service Centre as the most complete and future-proof solution that can be integrated with Sage Line 500 for their needs.

 

Crane have purchased all the core modules of Service Centre 4.2 -  Customer Assets, Call Control, Parts Centre, Repair Centre, Quote Centre and Prospect Centre – in addition to the system’s Remote Engineer Suite and Web-based Client Support options.

 

The system’s remote communications functionality is forecast by Crane to generate real business benefits: the company’s service professionals will be able to use a myriad of mobile communications technologies - laptops, Nokia devices, WAP ‘phones, XDAs, BlackBerry communicators or tablet PCs - for timely access to real data. Crane’s Resellers and clients will be able to use the browser-based accessibility for 24 x 7 visibilities of the company’s customer service offerings.

 

Crane serves a growing network of over 250 resellers throughout the UK, Eire and Benelux – offers “a fresh approach to converged communications and IT” via best-in-class technologies from vendors such as Avaya, BT Network Services, Mitel, Nortel and Samsung Electronics.
